Terms of use:
Terms of Use – BearClaw Studio Last updated: August 2026.
1. PAYMENT TERMS
Deposit: 30% upfront before project starts.
Balance: 70% due on project completion before handover.
We only start work after receiving the deposit.
If balance isn't paid within 7 days of completion, we pause support and retain access to all files.
2. PROJECT TIMELINE
We start work within 3 days of receiving deposit.
Timeline depends on package:
Intro: 2-3 weeks
Professional: 3-4 weeks
Premium: 4-6 weeks
Delays happen if: You don't provide content/images on time
Feedback takes 5+ days to respond
3. REVISIONS & CHANGES
All packages include unlimited small adjustments at no extra cost.
Small adjustments (FREE):
Text changes
Color changes on elements
Swapping images or icons
Moving elements (minor layout changes)
Font or typography changes
Hover effects or subtle animations
Major revisions (700-1.000 DKK each):
Adding a new section
Redesigning entire page/section
Changing layout structure
Adding new features or functionality
Rearranging multiple elements
Changing design direction
4. SUPPORT
INTRO: 1 month of support after launch.
PROFESSIONAL: 3 months of support after launch.
PREMIUM: 6 months of support after launch.
Support = fixing bugs, minor updates, answering questions.We respond within 2 business days. After support ends, we offer maintenance at hourly rate.
5. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Before work starts: Full refund minus admin fee (5%).
Ater work starts: Deposit is non-refundable. We return all files.
Close to completion (80%+): No refund. Full balance still due.
6. OWNERSHIP & RIGHTS
You own the website design and content. We own our code framework and can reuse design patterns in other projects. We keep the right to show your project in our portfolio.
7. LIABILITY
We're not responsible for: Data loss (you should backup)Security breaches (use strong passwords)Third-party tools failing (Google Analytics, hosting, etc.)Issues caused by client edits after launch
Our max liability = amount you paid us.
8. CHANGES TO TERMS
We can update these terms. We'll notify you via email.
Continuing to work with us = you accept new terms.
